Comment: I visited this location along Big Poe Creek in Bald Eagle State Forest over a dozen times during the course of a year.  In the winter my car got stuck in a snow bank (twice), and during the summer I had to fend off swarms of bugs when I forgot my bug spray.  Regardless, this has quickly become one of my favorite locations in Penn’s Woods.  It was fascinating to witness and record how this scene changed throughout the year. 

Bio: A native of central Pennsylvania, Matt grew up surrounded by the Appalachian mountains.  When not out in the wilds searching for his next photograph, Matt can be found outside biking the local singletrack in the summer and traipsing about on his skis during the colder months.
